Celebrated Chef Ray Fard, known by most as Uncle Ray, has spent the last three decades perfecting his style of Persian cooking and grilling.
Our Journey
In the early 1980's, Ray Fard's restaurant in Tehran, Iran thrived as a favorite gathering place for families. After the Islamic revolution and during the war that followed, Ray sold everything he had and moved his family out of Iran to pursue a life of peace and progress.
After settling in the United States, Ray pursued his passion for Persian cooking by starting Uncle Ray's Catering Company to serve the growing international communities and companies of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Over the past 15 years, Uncle Ray's has been a leading provider of catering services to the Bay Area, and continues to expand its services and offerings.
